Danny-GabirlDanny Gabriel, CEO

Mr. Gabriel serves as the CEO and Co-Chairman of the ColRich Board of Directors. Prior to his role as CEO, Mr. Gabriel served as the Chief Investment Officer and Co-President of ColRich. Graeme and Danny established ColRich multifamily in 2003 as a leading West Coast multifamily platform, with an emphasis on acquisition rehab. Over the past 14 years the company has successfully repositioned over 15,000 multifamily units across 7 states. Previously, he was a member of Apollo Real Estate Advisors in London, where he directed the sourcing, negotiating and structuring of cross-border real estate investments. Prior to Apollo, Mr. Gabriel was a member of the Corporate Real Estate Team for Ernst & Young in San Francisco and London, where he was responsible for financial underwriting (corporate mergers and initial public offerings), appraisals, and acquisition and disposition due diligence. Mr. Gabriel also worked with Nomura Securities in San Francisco, assisting in the underwriting of construction loan related mortgage-backed securities. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

Michael-RoosMichael Roos, Managing Director of Asset Management

Mr. Roos supervises asset and property management for ColRich, directly overseeing San Diego-based commercial projects. Mr. Roos has 23 years of real estate experience in multi‐family and commercial real estate management. He began his career at Lincoln Property Company assuming management and leasing responsibility for more than 1 million square feet of industrial properties. Mr. Roos subsequently joined the real estate subsidiary of California Federal Savings and Loan where he negotiated real estate equity joint‐venture investments with development partners across property types. Mr. Roos later joined the RREEF Funds as vice president to oversee the strategic direction and all investment decisions including leasing, operation, re‐development and disposition of a portfolio of five closed‐end funds with a market value of $400 million. He has also served as a vice president and portfolio manager for BRIO Investment Group. Mr. Roos graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Steve-ButlerSteve Butler, Director of Multifamily Acquisitions

Mr. Butler directs the acquisition, disposition and execution of multi-family properties. Prior to joining ColRich, Mr. Butler worked for Ryland Homes of Southern California where he served as manager of acquisitions and forward planning. In that role, he acquired and/or oversaw a number of communities throughout Southern California which culminated with the division closing over 700 homes in 2005. Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Colgate University.


Seth Dorros, Director of Land Acquisitions

Mr. Dorros joined ColRich in January 2010 and is responsible for analyzing and negotiating the acquisition of ColRich’s residential land transactions.  At ColRich, he has been responsible for acquiring in excess of 3,200 for-sale and for-rent units, at a combined value of over $775 Million. Mr. Dorros has worked for over 14 years in the real estate industry, including as land acquisition manager for Centex Homes, Southern California Coastal Division, and as a transactional and construction defect defense attorney for boutique real estate firms in San Diego.  Mr. Dorros is a California licensed attorney and real estate broker.  He received his juris doctorate in 2003 from Pepperdine University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in 1998 from Princeton University.

Tom-HalseyTom Halsey, Director of Finance/Investor Relations

Mr. Halsey manages debt and equity relationships for ColRich, including securing financing on all acquisition and development deals. Previously, Mr. Halsey was a senior underwriter for Sabal Financial’s commercial lending group, a division of the $4 billion diversified financial services firm. He served as an asset manager with Trimont Real Estate Advisors where he managed an $800 million portfolio of performing and non-performing commercial real estate mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and real estate owned positions. He entered the real estate industry as a finance manager for The Corky McMillin Companies where he supervised the daily cash and budgets for the Texas division’s land development group. Mr. Halsey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Jason-SilerJason Siler, Associate Director of Asset Management

Jason joined ColRich as an Asset Manager in early 2011.  In this role, Jason oversees portfolio wide ancillary income projects and is responsible for a portfolio of multifamily, retail and office assets owned by ColRich and its investment partners in California, Colorado, and Arizona.  Jason’s responsibilities include, commercial tenant leasing, management of tenant improvement projects, financial and operational management, oversight of third party property managers, monitoring of property renovations, and budgeting and analysis.  Prior to joining ColRich, Jason served as a Real Estate Analyst for Capmark Finance, a multinational commercial real estate finance company.  While at Capmark, Jason underwrote over a billion dollars of debt and equity transactions across all major real estate sectors including multifamily, office, retail and industrial.  Jason holds a CCIM designation and is a contributing columnist to Commercial Real Estate Magazine.  He is ARGUS certified and currently maintains real estate licenses in both California and Colorado.  Jason earned a BA in Environmental Studies and Real Estate from Rollins College and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego.
